India, sign two agreements
India and Croatia on Monday signed two agreements to facilitate cultural exchange and diplomatic cooperation.
The agreements were signed and exchanged by External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj and her Croatian counterpart Marija Pejcinovic Buric.
The two leaders discussed stepping up cooperation in political, trade and investment, health and pharmaceuticals, science and technology, tourism and culture. They also exchanged views on multilateral cooperation.
Minister Buric reiterated Croatia’s support for India’s accession to the Nuclear Suppliers Group.Both sides affirmed a commitment to fight the scourge of terrorism, its financing and safe havens.The Croatian Deputy Prime Minister arrived in Delhi last Saturday on a three-day visit to India.
